The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions by analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, and contributing to system design and implementation.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document requirements
Translate business needs into functional specifications
Analyze system processes and identify areas for improvement
Work with development and architecture teams
Provide input on system design
Collaborate with QA teams
Assist in system design, configuration, and implementation
Act as a liaison between technical teams and end-users
Support system integration initiatives
Troubleshoot issues and provide solutions
Analyze and interpret large datasets
Develop queries using SQL
Create reports and dashboards
Ensure data integrity
Develop and maintain detailed documentation
Conduct stakeholder presentations
Prepare training materials
Collaborate with project managers
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies
Track project progress and identify risks
Requirements
Proficiency with tools such as JIRA and Confluence
Experience creating process flow diagrams
Strong knowledge of SQL
Experience with relational databases
Proficiency with data visualization tools
Understanding of data modeling
Experience working with APIs and web services
Understanding of technologies like RESTful APIs, JSON, XML
Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
