Job Description

Huntress is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Business Platform team, focusing on the design, development, and release of software features for the Huntress Security Platform. The role involves creating technical visions, collaborating with teams, and ensuring high-quality, efficient, and reliable software development.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical aspects of feature development for the Portal, including UX/UI and API work
• Develop high-quality software, designs, and architecture
• Collaborate with Growth teams to build data-driven features
• Convert acceptance criteria into functional workflows and data models
• Focus on the entire system lifecycle, including evolution and risk management
• Ensure code quality and test coverage
• Lead the team in providing estimates and timely completion of work
• Mentor and coach junior engineers
• Motivate teams and promote collaboration

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience developing complex software products
• 5+ years of programming in Ruby on Rails
• Strong defensive coding skills
• Experience with Javascript
• Experience with databases such as Postgres
• Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills
• Experience integrating and managing billing systems, including Stripe, Salesforce (SFDC), and subscription management workflows
