Job Description

Juul Labs is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to design and build scalable data solutions. The role involves working with large datasets, creating data pipelines, and collaborating with various teams to drive business decisions. The ideal candidate will have strong data engineering experience, proficiency in Python, and experience with Google Cloud Platform.

Responsibilities

• Design data solutions and data pipeline frameworks
• Develop large-scale data engineering projects
• Create data pipelines in Airflow, DBT, and Google Cloud Platform
• Build and manage data models
• Ensure data quality
• Model market dynamics
• Bring visibility to sales, logistics, and supply chain operations
• Explain and predict consumer choices
• Build demand forecasting models
• Create analytical data models and tools
• Work in a scrum agile environment
• Partner with data teams
• Work with sales, operations, research, and finance teams
• Develop new systems and tools
• Establish design standards
• Keep Juul on the cutting edge of data technology

Requirements

• 4+ years of data engineering or software engineering experience
• Experience in driving engineering solutions
• Advanced knowledge in Python for data processing
• Skilled in using Python libraries and packages with Google Cloud Platform
• Comfortable working on AI pipelines
• Knowledge of bash/shell and orchestration tools
• Experience with version control and containers
• Skilled in analytical SQL
• Foundational expertise of deploying and maintaining machine learning pipelines is a plus
• Preferred masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or equivalent experience
