Job Description

As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for proactive threat monitoring, investigation, and response. Key duties include managing security Jira tickets, analyzing SIEM/SOAR alerts, conducting incident response, and recommending security improvements.

Responsibilities

• Manage and prioritize security-related Jira tickets
• Oversee the monitoring of security alerts and events
• Investigate alerts and come up with remediation plans
• Conduct investigation and response activities
• Conduct advanced analysis of security events
• Evaluate and recommend new security technologies
• Support security training and awareness programs
• Collaborate with other teams to enhance security posture

Requirements

• Ability to work effectively on a remote team
• Strong communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience
• 5-7 years of experience in security operations or related field
• Experience tracking and managing tickets in a Jira ticketing system
• Extensive hands-on experience with security tools and technologies
• Strong understanding of advanced cybersecurity principles
• Expertise in using and managing security tools
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
