The New York Times seeks a temporary Talent Acquisition Coordinator to facilitate the recruitment process, manage candidate experiences, and handle operational tasks like job postings and background checks. This hybrid position in New York City involves scheduling interviews, assisting recruiters, and contributing to projects for improved candidate experience.

Responsibilities

• Schedule interviews across multiple departments
• Assist recruiters with candidate management in Greenhouse Recruiting
• Provide a smooth and inclusive hiring experience
• Work with hiring managers and interviewers to schedule interviews
• Process hires and onboard them in Workday
• Manage candidate and recruiter support requests
• Contribute to recruiting projects

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a Talent Acquisition or HR role
• 1+ years of experience using applicant tracking systems
• Experience using Greenhouse applicant tracking system
• Experience managing multi-step recruiting processes
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
