Job Description

The Associate Field Service Technician maintains retail store technologies and computer systems, performing installations, support services, and repairs on Toshiba and non-Toshiba retail products. They diagnose and repair equipment, perform upgrades, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Perform basic repairs and services on products
  • Travel to customer locations for installations and repairs
  • Communicate with customers and team members
  • Manage service events effectively
  • Plan and schedule work to meet objectives
  • Document installation activities
  • Manage trunk stock
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School Diploma with 2+ years’ experience in an Electronics field
  • Ability to travel 100% of the time
  • Knowledge of personal computer technology and retail devices
  • Mechanical aptitude with competency in electricity & electronics
  • Ability to follow directions and communicate clearly
  • Good Customer Service skills
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to recognize and understand IT signal and power cables
  • Self-motivated and strong work ethic
  • Problem solving and Organizational skills
  • Ability to work long hours in a physically demanding environment
