Job Description

As the Senior Accountant, you will report to the Senior Manager, Accounting, and take ownership of General Ledger processes, including month-end close, preparing journal entries, reconciling cash, partnering with budget owners, and assisting in technical accounting research.

Responsibilities

• Focus on accounting month-end close and consolidation processes
• Reconcile cash and cash equivalents and estimate accruals
• Prepare monthly accounting journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist in the evaluation and adoption of accounting standard updates
• Oversee continuous process improvement projects
• Perform financial statement analysis and communicate findings
• Assist with the management of annual financial audits and monthly/quarterly reporting

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, CPA qualification preferred
• Considerable years of accounting-related work experience
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Cloud
• Experience with close management software a plus
• Ability to work on and prioritize multiple projects
• Excellent organizational abilities, customer service orientation, attention to detail, strong written and oral communication skills
