Job Description

Veeva is seeking a Security Engineer to help with onboarding security solutions for the Veeva product teams. The role involves working with development teams to install and tune various security tools, Python development for integration, and evaluating new security tools.

Responsibilities

• Implement security tools like IDS, IPS, FIM, and WAF
• Analyze and tune security tool alerts
• Write code for data lake, data warehouse, and transformation processes
• Perform code reviews
• Develop applications/scripts with Python
• Maintain security infrastructure, tools, and systems
• Document best practices and guides
• Mentor other security engineers

Requirements

• 5+ years in an Information Security role
• Experience maintaining automation scripts
• Software development experience using Python
• Experience with cloud service providers, preferably AWS
• Advanced knowledge in security engineering, system and network security, authentication, and security protocols
• Understanding of security standards
• Technical skills to translate business requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field
