Job Description

NISC is seeking a Support Specialist to join their Financials Support team, providing exceptional customer service and application support to members/customers. The role involves problem-solving, training, and ongoing support, emphasizing customer service and troubleshooting within a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer support
  • Assist with application support
  • Prepare cases and follow-up to resolution
  • Research and resolve application problems
  • Facilitate customer requests
  • Assist with mass communications
  • Assist with software release process
  • Utilize support tools
  • Convey customer feedback
  • Perform training
  • Provide after-hours support
  • Develop and deliver training
  • Prepare and deliver classes and sessions
  • Participate on design teams
  • Participate in testing
  • Travel to customer sites

Requirements

  • 1-5 years of product usage or support experience
  • Knowledge of NISC's products
  • Knowledge of industry applications
  • Knowledge of Project Management and SLM
  • Knowledge of Utility or Telecom industry
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent presentation and training skills
  • Excellent telephone etiquette
  • Excellent research and problem-solving skills
  • Strong PC skills
  • Ability to lead, influence, and teach
  • Ability to organize and prioritize
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Ability to travel
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
