Energy Solutions is seeking a full-time Research Analyst II to join their Policy and Ratings team, focusing on energy efficiency and clean energy policy. The role involves conducting research, analyzing data, and communicating findings to various audiences to contribute to a sustainable future.

Responsibilities

• Conducting qualitative and quantitative research and synthesizing findings
• Assessing data sources and deriving inputs for energy policy impacts analysis
• Conducting quantitative analysis for various metrics
• Producing clear documentation of research and analysis
• Developing presentations and reports to communicate methods and findings
• Conducting quality assurance and control practices
• Learning and applying new analytical techniques
• Providing oversight and review of supporting staff
• Working collaboratively to execute projects

Requirements

• Minimum of five years of relevant work experience
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field
• Excellence in conceptual analysis, critical thinking, quantitative analysis, and attention to detail
• Strong written and communication skills
• Proven ability to manage and execute research tasks
• Professional experience estimating costs and benefits, conducting cost-benefit analysis, and analyzing lifecycle cost impacts
• Relevant domain knowledge in at least one area
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
• Ability to prioritize and be flexible
