GoodLeap seeks a Senior Quality Engineer to enhance high-quality delivery and improve resilience. The role involves developing test strategies, authoring automated tests, and advising on best practices, with opportunities to influence a comprehensive quality program.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute test strategies
• Act as quality owner for product teams
• Influence goals related to test automation and reliability
• Author and maintain automated tests
• Perform manual testing
• Develop and maintain API test suites
• Collaborate with engineers on testing best practices
• Coach engineers on test authoring
• Execute end-to-end testing initiatives
• Implement and improve quality metrics
• Develop and execute test plans
• Analyze defect trends and identify improvements

Requirements

• Experience as a Quality Engineer in agile teams
• Experience defining and executing test strategies
• Proficiency with automated testing frameworks
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools
• Strong understanding of test engineering best practices
• Familiarity with test case management and issue tracking tools
• Experience with version control and CI tools
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
• Ability to lead quality initiatives and mentor teammates
• Skill in developing test plans and writing bug reports
• Direct experience developing automated test suites
• Ability to work independently and as a team player
