Job Description

As a Technical Program Manager for Gemini Advanced Capabilities, you will lead and drive complex technical programs related to the development and improvement of core features and functionalities within the Gemini models. You will work closely with research scientists, engineers, and other stakeholders to define program strategies, set goals and priorities, and perform technical due diligence to scope engineering efforts.

Responsibilities

• Scope and lead complex programs focused on advancing Gemini's core capabilities
• Co-develop program strategies, goals, priorities, and success metrics
• Perform technical due diligence to evaluate engineering scope and establish milestones
• Drive the execution of technical plans
• Build and guide effective cross-functional program teams
• Manage risks, deliverables, and interdependencies
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
• Provide clear guidance and direction to stakeholders
• Develop technical analysis, tools, and processes
• Ensure comprehensive documentation of program plans and processes
• Provide proactive support to the team

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field or equivalent experience
• Experience leading and driving complex technical programs
• Ability to scope and shape ambiguous programs
• Comprehensive understanding of program management, tools, methodologies, and processes
• Comprehensive technical knowledge of machine learning and AI principles
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and research-driven environment
• Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
