The Floor Leader supports the Store Management Team in all areas of the business, driving sales, opening/closing the store, analyzing sales results, and leading training sessions to ensure exceptional customer experience and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Drive sales and provide coaching to the sales team
Lead by example in delivering customer experience
Educate customers on Lush brand values
Increase product knowledge and make recommendations
Train and coach Sales Ambassadors
Encourage open communication related to DEIB
Manage cash handling and store opening/closing
Monitor employee breaks and review daily communications
Maintain a clean and organized store
Train team on inventory best practices
Ensure staff compliance with company standards
Requirements
1+ year of customer service and sales experience
Experience in cash handling and opening/closing procedures
Supervisory experience involving coaching, feedback, and training
Experience in problem-solving customer service issues
Experience in a fast-paced team environment
Knowledge and passion for skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business
Flexible schedule
Experience with consultation-based customer service models (preferred)
Experience analyzing sales metrics (preferred)
Experience working in skincare or cosmetics (preferred)
Experience in cross cultural collaboration and DEIB or social justice training (preferred)
Fluency in Spanish, French or other languages (preferred)
