Job Description

As a Senior Release Train Engineer (RTE), you will orchestrate cross-team delivery efforts for Agile teams, adapting program-level coordination and planning practices to fit the organization’s structure. You will determine team capacity, create and maintain delivery metrics, establish release priorities, and drive consistency across teams.

Responsibilities

  • Define and manage work request intake processes
  • Facilitate prioritization of technology work requests
  • Support teams in planning and forecasting work
  • Coordinate cross-team activities and planning events
  • Summarize and communicate planning outcomes
  • Coordinate with Release Management
  • Manage and provide visibility into team allocation and capacity
  • Provide delivery performance metrics
  • Assist in breaking down complex requests
  • Facilitate the escalation and resolution of impediments
  • Track and manage cross-team dependencies
  • Lead retrospectives and improve delivery practices
  • Lead quarterly planning and summarize objectives
  • Facilitate a Scrum of Scrums
  • Ensure high quality of features and sound estimation
  • Provide Agile coaching and guidance
  • Facilitate system demos

Requirements

  • 7 years of experience in delivery coordination roles
  • Deep understanding of Agile methodologies
  • Strong facilitation, coaching, and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Understanding of the technical domain
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Client-oriented mindset
  • Ability to assess and solve problems with urgency
  • Ability to motivate a team
  • Adaptability during change
  • Experience with Agile planning tools and metric tracking/reporting
