Job Description

The Regional Sales Director will lead a team of Account Executives to drive revenue growth, attract talent, and expand the customer base within their assigned territory. They will develop sales strategies, mentor the team, and partner with other groups. The ideal candidate has a technical background and experience selling visualization, application performance management, or cloud-based tooling.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and mentor sales team
  • Develop a pipeline to achieve revenue targets
  • Direct sales activities by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals
  • Build and maintain an annual sales plan
  • Meet with prospects and strategize with sales representatives to close deals
  • Help the team prepare for QBRs and HBRs
  • Enable and support Account Executives in developing strategic relationships
  • Strategically partner with Marketing, Solution Engineers, R&D, Customer Support and other functional teams

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of leading successful sales teams
  • Minimum 6 years of successful direct sales experience
  • Background in technical applications, familiarity with OSS is a plus
  • Experience navigating complex sales cycles
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Comfort working with C-Level executives
  • Passionate about recruiting, hiring, mentoring and developing talent
  • Consistent track record in shaping strategic seven-figure deals
  • MEDDPICC expertise
  • Experience working with ROI and cost modeling
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
  • Unwavering dedication to integrity and professionalism
