Job Description

Nava is seeking experienced infrastructure engineers to modernize government services. The role involves working on AWS-based systems, utilizing tools like Docker, Packer, Terraform, and Jenkins. The engineer will be responsible for system performance, security, and scalability, ensuring services are reliable and fast. The role requires a passion for impactful technology and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Set technical direction and standards
• Code, manage, configure, and maintain services
• Implement security controls
• Mentor junior engineers
• Participate in on-call rotation
• Participate in hiring activities

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience
• Experience leading small teams
• Experience with IaC on AWS
• Experience with AWS services
• Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, LaunchDarkly
• Experience with Terraform, Atlantis
• Experience in Cloud Infrastructure, Unix/Linux, Scripting, or Security
• Ability to automate tasks using scripting or coding
• Excellent communication skills
