Cohere Health is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to drive strategic data science initiatives, analyze healthcare data, and support product and clinical teams. The role involves leading in-depth analyses, mentoring junior data scientists, and translating business needs into technical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategic data science initiatives
• Take ownership of data science milestones
• Lead in-depth analyses of healthcare and product data
• Mentor junior data scientists
• Translate business needs into data science requirements
• Present information using data visualization
• Design and conduct causal inference analyses
• Leverage cutting-edge technologies

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on data science experience in healthcare
• Demonstrated leadership in healthcare data science
• Proficiency in current modeling approaches
• Experience with data mining and analysis methods
• Experience with programming languages (Python, PySpark, Scala, or Spark SQL)
• Strong understanding of EMR, Claims, and SDOH data
• Experience with data visualization tools
• MSc or higher degree in a related field
