Job Description

Sony Music Entertainment seeks a high-performing Travel Manager to join the Global Travel team in Culver City, CA. This hybrid role involves managing travel operations, providing employee support, ensuring policy compliance, and maintaining supplier relationships. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of experience in corporate travel management and strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily travel-related issues
• Provide training and support on Concur Travel and corporate travel policies
• Resolve escalations with Travel Management Company (TMC)
• Promote adherence to travel policies
• Conduct governance meetings
• Develop relationships with TMC, airlines, and hotels
• Source and negotiate hotel accommodation
• Conduct hotel and venue site inspections
• Troubleshoot Concur Travel and travel approval workflows
• Manage preferred hotel lists
• Review and analyze TMC reports
• Present insights to leadership
• Ensure employee and non-employee safety
• Support Duty of Care initiatives
• Assist with special projects

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in corporate travel or hospitality
• Experience with Concur Travel & GDS systems
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business process analysis skills
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Bachelor’s degree or above (Preferred)
• Experience in corporate travel policy development and supplier contract negotiations (Preferred)
• Experience working with travel management companies or in-house travel departments (Preferred)
