Job Description

As a Software Integration Engineer, you will integrate, configure, and sustain software in a hybrid environment, contributing to a Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) Linux environment using open-source tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and Weka. You will drive innovation using containerization and DevOps principles.

Responsibilities

• Integrate, install, configure, upgrade, and support COTS/GOTS software
• Manage software sustainment efforts
• Write and execute test codes
• Monitor and troubleshoot Linux clusters
• Administer and monitor Kubernetes clusters
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) automation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Use Atlassian tools and Git for version control

Requirements

• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with eight (8)+ years of experience or five (5) years of full-time Computer Science experience can substitute for a degree, with an additional eight (8) years in relevant roles
• Experience with Linux CLI and basic system administration
• Proficiency in scripting using Bash and Python
• Knowledge of compute, network, memory, and storage system components
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes administration and monitoring
• Expertise in troubleshooting large-scale Linux clusters
• Familiarity with system monitoring tools
• Experience with version control systems like Git
