Job Description

Lead the Flight Test Engineering team at Merlin, a venture-backed aerospace startup. This role involves hands-on testing, developing test processes, collaborating with various teams, and participating in flight tests to advance autonomy systems for safer and more accessible flying machines.

Responsibilities

• Support autonomy systems development through flight testing
• Develop and apply flight test processes
• Collaborate with teams to develop and author test plans
• Participate in flight tests, including data analysis and report generation

Requirements

• BS in Engineering or related field
• 5+ years of flight test experience
• Knowledge of aircraft flight dynamics and control
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Eligibility to work in the US without sponsorship
