Job Description

SmartAsset is seeking an Account Executive to join their inside sales team, focusing on identifying and developing new clients through prospecting and cold outreach. The role involves educating prospective customers on the platform's features, adopting a consultative sales approach, and owning the full sales cycle. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a high-volume sales environment, possess strong communication skills, and have experience in inside sales or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying and developing new clients through prospecting and cold outreach
  • Providing detailed information to prospective customers and educating them on the platform
  • Having a consultative approach with clients by understanding their business needs and explaining ROI
  • Owning the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing
  • Becoming an expert in the financial advisor industry
  • Collaborating with company leadership to vet and research different strategies for generating more revenue
  • Staying organized and maintaining contacts in Salesforce

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of full sales cycle experience or in a Sales Development role
  • Experience in an inside sales, cold calling, transactional sales role
  • Ability to drive deals independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable speaking to and persuading prospective clients on the phone and making 100+ calls per day
  • Attention to detail and excellent organization and time-management skills
  • Salesforce experience preferred
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
