Job Description

SmartAsset is seeking a dynamic and organized Account Manager to manage a portfolio of Financial Advisor accounts, drive revenue growth, and enhance client satisfaction. The role involves client relationship management, revenue growth through upselling, team leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary contact for Financial Advisors
  • Strategically engage and retain clients
  • Counsel Advisors on best practices
  • Lead client escalation calls
  • Maximize revenue through upselling
  • Manage revenue in a growing book of business
  • Utilize sales tools to uncover opportunities
  • Represent the AM business in strategic meetings
  • Liaise with other teams
  • Drive adoption of new tools
  • Maintain accurate Salesforce records
  • Assist with OAT setup and maintenance
  • Investigate billing discrepancies
  • Oversee pre-activation processes
  • Action feedback from the Concierge team

Requirements

  • 2+ years of account management or business development experience
  • Excellent communication skills and phone presence
  • Skilled in building and maintaining client relationships
  • Proven consultative sales expertise
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Interest in the financial advisory industry
