Job Description

Melio is seeking a dynamic Director of Business Development to drive high-potential pipeline generation, close strategic deals, and strengthen partner relationships within the vertical SaaS market.

Responsibilities

  • Generate high-potential pipeline opportunities
  • Influence key ecosystems and stakeholders
  • Close Vertical SaaS Deals
  • Build and strengthen partner relationships
  • Expand existing partnerships
  • Track performance metrics and ensure weekly updates
  • Act as a fact-driven internal collaborator

Requirements

  • 5+ years of payments experience; at least 3 years of partnerships experience
  • Thorough understanding of B2B payments and Vertical SaaS models
  • Strong track record of leading impactful partnership teams
  • Experience executing industry-wide partnership strategies
  • Experience negotiating commercial deals
  • Ability to analyze data and drive performance-based decisions
  • Strong executive presence
  • Operationally focused mindset
