Job Description

The Container Infrastructure team at DRW is seeking a Service Reliability Engineer (SRE) to onboard applications and services to their Kubernetes infrastructure, provide ongoing support, and evaluate new tools and processes. The SRE will work with various teams to ensure successful application migration and promote the Kubernetes platform.

Responsibilities

• Improve patterns, processes, and standards for migrating applications to DRW’s Kubernetes platform
• Ensure successful onboarding of applications into DRW’s Kubernetes platform
• Promote DRW’s Kubernetes platform with demos, lightning talks, and presentations
• Automate repetitive manual tasks

Requirements

• Multiple years of Kubernetes and Linux operations experience
• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals
• Experience automating deployments and image builds using CI/CD pipelines and a variety of languages
• Familiarity with AWS managed services (EKS, S3, EC2, etc)
• A service focused attitude
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
