Job Description

Provide support to trading desks in Chicago, optimizing operational workflow and utilizing technology.

Responsibilities

• Act as process owner and provide support for enhancements
• Provide support for traders' risk management tools
• Upgrade and support traders' tools
• Interface with technology to improve tools
• Adopt and promote new technology
• Master trade capture, inventory management, treasury management, and risk management systems
• Trade and position reconciliation
• Daily P&L calculation and substantiation
• Provide operational support for the firm’s Agricultural Options desk

Requirements

• Proficiency in Python, Git, SQL, and Linux
• Experience or knowledge of options theory and derivatives
• Interest or experience in Agricultural products
• 2-3 years of experience in relevant roles
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience
• Prior interaction with front office and senior management
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to analyze problems and implement solutions
