Job Description

The Senior Manager, Open Innovation – Mobile eXperience Partnerships & Acquisitions is responsible for developing partnerships, exploring investment & acquisitions with external innovations, and formulating strategies to deliver innovative & exciting value to consumers through Samsung mobile and wearable products.

Responsibilities

• Keep a pulse on market trends and research
• Target investment, M&A, and partnership opportunities
• Foster relationships with startups and communicate their value
• Be the primary liaison between partners and Samsung
• Coordinate cross-functional team activities
• Address ambiguity through strategic thinking
• Build concepts and define new consumer experiences

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in technology or engineering
• 10+ years of professional experience in a technology company
• 5+ years’ experience in a corporate development role
• Deep industry knowledge in at least one core technology vertical
• Ability to transform complex technical information
• Effective interpersonal and relationship management skills
• Strong personal network within the industry
• Experience in leading complex projects
• Excellent written, verbal communications and presentation skills
• Ability to deal with ambiguity
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
