Responsibilities
Interact with clients and providers
Order medical records
Obtain supporting documents
Interact with insurance carriers and healthcare providers
Negotiate settlements and medical balance deductions
Work with coworkers
Maintain organized case files
Prepare demands
Present case synopsis
Manage case files from intake to closing
Perform other related duties
Requirements
Bachelor's degree preferred
Prior Personal Injury Case Manager experience preferred
At least 2 years of legal or insurance adjuster experience preferred
Negotiating skills
Team player and follows procedures
Proactive interaction skills
Ability to multi-task and manage workload
Highly organized
Strong writing and communication skills
Computer and database expertise, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and type no less than 35 wpm
