Job Description

The Business and Corporate Development team at Google DeepMind is seeking a manager to identify and manage strategic partnerships to further research priorities and maximize impact, with a focus on Robotics related business development opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of Google DeepMind’s research, product, and business strategy
• Serve as a liaison between internal teams and external partners
• Identify new opportunities and assess risks
• Negotiate agreements with external partners
• Lead cross-functional teams on strategic initiatives
• Track and analyze partnerships
• Work with colleagues across Google to pursue partnership opportunities

Requirements

• Professional experience in business development, strategic negotiations, and partnership management
• Proven track-record of negotiating research partnerships
• Excellent relationship-building, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proven negotiation, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Experience working with machine learning and/or robotics
• Ability to influence and communicate cross-functionally
• PhD in a relevant subject or equivalent work experience
