Oversee and direct the operations of the Plant Maintenance and personnel to ensure efficient use of plant resources, adherence to Hydrite procedures and policies, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
Lead and support Hydrite's Safety Vision, Mission and Values
Ensure safety and regulatory compliance
Manage Maintenance personnel and procedures
Maintain plant equipment for safe and efficient operation
Develop and manage CMMS (Maximo)
Develop and manage the maintenance budget
Develop reports on plant maintenance statistics
Identify and formulate process improvement projects
Ensure current standard operating procedure documents
Manage plant capital projects
Manage work orders, preventive maintenance schedules, and other procedures
Evaluate and develop Maintenance personnel
Serve as Waterloo’s Primary Emergency Coordinator
Guide employee performance and development
Uphold Hydrite’s Standard of Excellence
Perform all duties outlined in relevant SOPs
Participate in RCRA, regulatory, health & safety and process training
Submit a monthly status report for the Maintenance Department
Guide personnel in charge of process controls
Organize and maintain a vendors file
Develop and execute corrective actions for deficiencies
Maintain workload balances and provide back-up support
Support effective communication with all Hydrite departments
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or >10 years relevant technical experience
Three to five years of chemical processing experience with supervisory or management experience
Ability to effectively communicate, both verbal and written
Strong computer skills and knowledge of Power Point, Word, and Excel
