Job Description

The Business Development Manager, Entertainment will drive new business through proactive outreach and relationship-building, focusing on cold outreach to expand Authentic’s licensing deals. The role involves sourcing, pitching, selling, negotiating, and closing new licensing deals, requiring experience in structuring out-licensing deals.

Responsibilities

  • Generate qualified leads by understanding brand strategies and identifying target contacts
  • Build and manage sales pipeline through high-volume outbound sales activity and detailed discovery
  • Drive licensing deals to close by developing business plans and negotiating deal terms
  • Manage sales activity in CRM and prepare accurate sales forecasts

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in new business development out-licensing brands and IP
  • 3+ years of experience in full-cycle sales
  • Knowledge of licensees and product categories
  • Eager demeanor with a drive to win
  • Success at negotiating licensing contracts
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
