Job Description

The Benefits Specialist will join the People Operations and Total Rewards team, overseeing the day-to-day administration of US employee benefit programs, including health, retirement, wellness, and leave programs. This role involves managing benefits administration, partnering with HR and vendors, ensuring compliance, and providing support to employees.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of US employee benefits programs
  • Provide guidance and support to employees regarding benefits
  • Ensure benefits programs comply with laws and regulations
  • Coordinate with vendors and providers
  • Develop and distribute benefits communications
  • Conduct benefits orientations
  • Maintain benefits records in HRIS systems
  • Plan and execute annual open enrollment
  • Investigate and resolve complex benefits issues
  • Partner with People & Culture leads in EMEIA and APAC
  • Support regional teams in exploring benefit plan changes
  • Stay abreast of benefits trends
  • Other projects as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in benefits administration
  • Experience with HRIS/HCM and benefit management systems
  • Track record of ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations
  • Experience with system/technology implementations
  • Strong knowledge of employee benefits, laws and regulations
  • Excellent time-management skills and proficiency in Microsoft Suite
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
  • Demonstrated customer service mindset
  • Creative problem-solver with sound judgment and critical thinking
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to be detail-oriented
  • Ability to drive results
