Job Description

Vercel is looking for a Sr Revenue Accountant to join the accounting team. This role will support the accounting close process, streamline close procedures, automate the Order to Cash process, and implement initiatives to strengthen financial operations as the company scales.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close process by preparing revenue related journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
• Implement and maintain revenue recognition policies and procedures
• Perform contract reviews and prepare related revenue schedules
• Perform analytical reviews to provide insights to internal stakeholders
• Help implement improvements to automate and scale the Order to Cash process
• Provide support during audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulations
• Collaborate with other teams to analyze financial data
• Assist with revenue projects and process improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3-5 years of revenue accounting experience, including at least 2 years at a Big 4 accounting firm
• Experience working in SaaS or Consumption-Based companies
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Located in SF Bay Area
