Oportun is seeking customer service-oriented candidates to work Full-Time. The primary focus is to create a rewarding member service experience by educating members about financial services and engaging in outreach activities.

Responsibilities

• Welcome members and provide service
• Process transactions
• Work independently or as a team
• Educate potential members about Oportun’s services through outreach
• Build relationships with local businesses
• Conduct outreach efforts at local events
• Engage with people at retail locations
• Support community outreach and marketing events
• Use iPads to assist with applications
• Maintain work area and store location
• Use a computer for administrative tasks and servicing members
• Travel between work locations
• Be a role model for Oportun’s Core Values

Requirements

• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Outgoing and sales-focused
• Enjoy speaking with people
• Available to work weekends and flexible schedule
• Regular and reliable attendance
• Willing to work outdoors
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• Basic computer skills and operate office equipment
• Ability to organize and file documents
