Job Description

Slate is seeking a Manufacturing Systems Lead / Plant IT Manager to manage IT systems within a manufacturing environment, especially in a startup environment. The role involves deploying and managing plant systems like MES, ERP, WMS, and SCADA, overseeing major projects, leading an IT team, and developing IT strategies.

Responsibilities

• Align IT vision with Business Vision
• Manage and maintain all manufacturing systems
• Implement and deploy manufacturing systems
• Oversee major infrastructure projects
• Manage the MES system
• Lead a team of IT professionals
• Develop and implement IT strategies
• Ensure seamless system integration
• Address and resolve IT-related issues
• Ensure compliance with industry standards
• Oversee the IT budget
• Manage relationships with IT vendors
• Provide training and development
• Implement and manage industrial cyber controls

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field
• 15+ years of IT systems management experience in manufacturing
• Experience with industrial cyber controls
• Proficiency in Manufacturing Systems
• Proven leadership skills
• Strong strategic planning and execution skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications are optional but desired
