Job Description

The Head of Product Design will lead and elevate the onshore exchange and payments experience for users, shaping design strategy, user experience, and innovation for onshore trading products. This role involves leading a global design team, collaborating with various departments, and ensuring a seamless, intuitive, and compliant trading and payments environment.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the long-term design vision for OKX’s onshore trading and payments ecosystem
• Establish scalable design frameworks, systems, and processes
• Champion data-informed design
• Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing global design team
• Mentor designers
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Legal
• Advocate for design in executive discussions
• Oversee end-to-end design for OnShore Trading and Payment products
• Simplify complex financial workflows
• Drive innovation in crypto UX
• Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in design leadership and management
• Experience designing for financial products, preferably in trading, fintech, or payments
• Ability to hire, mentor, and retain top design talent
• Deep understanding of human-centered design principles
• Expertise in breaking down complex financial products
• Experience working in fast-paced environments
• Hands-on mindset
• Passion for innovation and staying ahead of industry trends
• Experience collaborating with PMs, Engineers, Legal, and Compliance
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Web Design, or equivalent experience
• Experience in Fintech or Crypto industries
• Background in working with global teams across multiple time zones
