Job Description

The Corporate Accounting team at Robinhood is responsible for leading the month-end close process, ensuring the completeness and integrity of financial statements. The Director of Accounting will lead the team, oversee the monthly and quarterly close processes, and prepare financial documents in accordance with US GAAP. The role involves team leadership, system implementations, and automation projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise corporate accounting functions
• Own credit card, money, and advisory product accounting
• Evaluate processes to optimize and decrease time to close
• Develop cross-functional relationships
• Ensure internal controls over operations and financial reporting
• Partner with external auditors
• Lead and scale a high-performing team

Requirements

• 12+ years of accounting experience
• 4+ years of strategic leadership experience
• Strong accounting and analytical skills
• Experience with Oracle ERP and Oracle FCCS
• Proactive communication and problem-solving skills
