Job Description

Pure Storage is seeking an experienced Manager for their Technical Services team in Raleigh, North Carolina. The role involves leading and scaling a team of technical services engineers, monitoring customer arrays 24x7, and documenting and training individual functions within the team. The goal is to provide front-line support to customers, solving problems quickly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and scale the Technical Services team
  • Monitor customer arrays 24x7
  • Document and train team members
  • Develop strong teams through recruiting, performance management, and professional development
  • Identify and implement process improvements
  • Collaborate with internal business units and stakeholders
  • Manage customer concerns and issues
  • Participate in on-call/after-hours support rotation
  • Contribute to projects as assigned

Requirements

  • 5+ years of customer-facing, technical services experience
  • 3+ years of direct leadership experience
  • Willingness to work Monday-Friday from 7am-4pm EST
  • Experience in troubleshooting complex technical problems
  • Experience supporting hardware and software products
  • Foundational knowledge in operating systems (VMWare, Solaris, Linux, Windows)
  • Knowledge of ITIL concepts (ITIL Certification is a bonus)
  • Strong Project Management skills
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
