Job Description

As a Sr Project Engineer, you’ll manage concept, scope, cost, resources, funding, and all other facets of small to major capital projects. You’ll maintain visibility to the design process and assure adherence to all established key components and project deliverables. Be the key communicator between clients as well as various stakeholders, as you directly manage overall project execution including construction, commissioning, qualification, and verification.

Responsibilities

• Drive the quoting process simultaneously for multiple projects
• Assist in the development of pre-project approval documents
• Provide constructability reviews during the design process
• Ensure design progress and deliverables are met
• Attend progress meetings and prepare required reports
• Manage design teams, contractors, and external partners
• Direct and execute design processes, installation, construction and commissioning
• Manage adherence to project milestones and project scope
• Provide construction management and plant startup assistance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field, or 10+ years of construction supervision experience, or 5+ years of project management experience
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, military or related environment
• Experience implementing new manufacturing equipment and processes within a Food and/or pharmaceutical is a plus
