The Coordinator, Business and Legal Affairs will report to the Senior Vice President, Head of U.S. Litigation, Business & Legal Affairs and will support the team of lawyers responsible for all U.S. litigation.
Responsibilities
Support and assist team of lawyers responsible for all U.S. litigation
Assist in drafting and proofreading correspondence and basic documents
Assist with basic online research related to claims
Review artist agreements in connection with copyright termination claims
Prepare presentations and reports
Coordinate meetings and manage lawyers’ daily schedules
Organize and maintain filing and tracking systems and database for litigation-related matters
Liaise with facilities, IS&T and purchasing departments for office needs
Arrange travel and process expense reports; provide phone coverage
Maintain attorneys’ CLE compliance forms and process renewals
File litigation-relevant copyright registrations and otherwise support the processing of copyright registrations
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years administrative experience or recent college graduate with demonstrated learning potential
Proficient in computer software applications
Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
