Job Description

The Coordinator, Business and Legal Affairs will report to the Senior Vice President, Head of U.S. Litigation, Business & Legal Affairs and will support the team of lawyers responsible for all U.S. litigation.

Responsibilities

  • Support and assist team of lawyers responsible for all U.S. litigation
  • Assist in drafting and proofreading correspondence and basic documents
  • Assist with basic online research related to claims
  • Review artist agreements in connection with copyright termination claims
  • Prepare presentations and reports
  • Coordinate meetings and manage lawyers’ daily schedules
  • Organize and maintain filing and tracking systems and database for litigation-related matters
  • Liaise with facilities, IS&T and purchasing departments for office needs
  • Arrange travel and process expense reports; provide phone coverage
  • Maintain attorneys’ CLE compliance forms and process renewals
  • File litigation-relevant copyright registrations and otherwise support the processing of copyright registrations

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years administrative experience or recent college graduate with demonstrated learning potential
  • Proficient in computer software applications
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail oriented, organized, timely and accurate
  • Punctual, available to work overtime
  • Strong understanding of social media platform use
