The Manager in Training supports the Store Manager in all business areas, focusing on customer experience, staff development, and operational excellence to exceed sales goals.
Responsibilities
Exceeding sales goals and ensuring a unique customer experience
Educating customers and staff on brand values
Increasing product knowledge and making informed recommendations
Demonstrating strong business acumen and impacting metrics
Supporting the team on the sales floor and motivating them
Supporting staff growth through coaching and leading by example
Engaging the team to ensure they are inspired and motivated
Supporting shop staffing through networking, recruiting, and succession planning
Creating plans to improve staff engagement, retention, performance, and DEIB practices
Keeping the shop compliant and ensuring staff follow company standards
Training the inventory team and managing ordering
Following merchandising and design standards
Ensuring proper staffing and allocating breaks and meals
Requirements
1-3 years managing or supervising in a retail environment
Excellent listening and communication skills
Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills
Excellent organization and time management skills
Strong customer service, supervisory, and sales skills
Knowledge and interest in skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business
