Job Description

Metropolis is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Compensation Manager to join their People team. The Compensation Manager will have both day-to-day and strategic responsibilities, including the design, implementation, and administration of compensation programs and processes. The ideal candidate will be a resourceful problem-solver with a strong understanding of compensation best practices and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage compensation policies and programs
  • Conduct job evaluations and salary surveys
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders
  • Manage complex compensation projects
  • Identify and develop solutions to compensation-related problems
  • Analyze compensation data and make recommendations
  • Stay current on compensation trends and legislation
  • Manage multiple competing priorities
  • Develop and deliver compensation training
  • Participate in the annual compensation planning process
  • Ensure data integrity within HR systems
  • Collaborate with other HR functions

Requirements

  • Proven ability to work independently
  • Three to five years of experience in Compensation
  • Experience as a resourceful self-starter
  • Ability to find process-driven solutions
  • Familiarity with Radford compensation data structures
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in presentation development
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and HRIS systems
