Job Description

The Personalization team at Spotify is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to develop and refine reward signals for recommendations. This role involves collaborating with research scientists and data scientists to build and integrate state-of-the-art ML systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, scale, build, evaluate, integrate, ship, and refine reward signals for recommendations
• Lead collaborations to integrate and A/B test mid-term signals
• Promote best practices of ML systems development

Requirements

• Strong background in machine learning, statistics, and optimization
• Expertise in sequential models and transformer architecture models
• Hands-on experience with large cross-collaborative machine learning projects
• Experience implementing production machine learning systems in Java, Scala, Python, or similar languages
• Experience with distributed data processing frameworks/tools like Apache Beam, Apache Spark, or Scio, and cloud platforms like GCP or AWS
