Job Description

ABM is seeking a General Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and reactive maintenance on various equipment and systems, ensuring repairs and maintenance to all equipment and facilities. The role involves responding to emergencies and assisting as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and repairs facility structure, equipment, and grounds including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC
• Performs skilled trades work such as carpentry and painting
• Installs or repairs mechanical and electrical systems
• Conducts inspections to determine necessary repair work
• Works from blueprints and drawings

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Customer service experience
• 2-3 years of similar work experience
• Skilled understanding of specialized tools and test equipment
• General understanding of mechanical, electrical, or plumbing concepts
• Ability to use a computer and digital information tools
• Skilled verbal and written business communication skills
