Job Description

OpenTable is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Payroll Manager to oversee international payroll operations, ensuring timely and accurate payments across multiple countries. The role involves managing payroll vendors, tax reporting, and team leadership, requiring strong analytical skills and a focus on customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely and accurate payroll for multiple countries
  • Oversee international payroll operations including UK, Australia, India, Germany, France, Ireland, Lithuania, Switzerland, and Singapore
  • Calculate and report tax liabilities
  • Manage payroll tax reporting system processes
  • Manage multiple payroll vendors
  • Manage payroll queries
  • Research taxes and payroll withholding procedures
  • Assist with special reports for senior management
  • Point person for payroll tax notices and audits
  • Ensure correct taxation of payroll and benefits
  • Build relationships with Finance, HROps, Legal, and FP&A teams
  • Develop and lead an International Payroll Team
  • Assist and consult on ad-hoc projects

Requirements

  • Minimum six years of recent hands-on payroll experience with multi-national payrolls
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration preferred
  • Professional payroll certification preferred
  • Three years of experience managing a team
  • Two years of hands-on CloudPay experience
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong knowledge of payroll protocols
  • Process-first approach
  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Highly analytical with strong organization and prioritization skills
