Job Description

PingCAP is seeking a technology leader to join their Solution Architect organization to align their product (TiDB) and solution with customer needs across SaaS and other ICP segments. The role involves researching advantageous business and technical scenarios, finding efficient GTM strategies, and guiding customers in building scalable systems using their data platform.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team to support business operations in North America, EMEA, APAC, and Japan
• Ensure the achievement of relevant business metrics and enhance the Proof of Concept (POC) success rate
• Provide market insight into global new economy industries, understand industry trends, and develop scenario-based industry solutions
• Advise and guide customers on architectures and strategies for using TiDB
• Develop trends in data technology partnering with worldwide cloud vendors
• Establish industry influence through technology sharing and disseminate database technology and best solutions practices
• Display a strong understanding of solutions innovation

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience
• Master's degree in at least one database technology stack
• Broad view of data technology and familiarity with mainstream data products
• Diverse industry business and technology expertise with SaaS know-how
• Proficient in scenario abstraction and aligning with data architecture
• Demonstrated expertise in selling databases and deploying applications with leading cloud providers
• Outstanding communication and program presentation skills
• Strong sense of curiosity and a continuous learning mindset
• 5+ years of management of technical, enterprise customer-facing experiences
