Job Description

As a Senior Business Analyst at Xero, you will work with product leaders and development teams to understand customer problems through data analysis, translate insights, organize work, and contribute to solutions. You will also contribute to the development and implementation of product analysis methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Understand product strategy and objectives
• Analyze customer data
• Translate customer problems into user stories
• Manage backlog
• Guide product development and track progress
• Foster collaboration
• Monitor product performance
• Provide support between development stages
• Develop and implement product practices
• Train and coach team members
• Facilitate sessions and drive recommendations

Requirements

• Experience with agile processes
• Experience in data analysis and providing recommendations
• Experience solving complex problems
• Experience supporting or developing business analysis related practice
• Understanding of SaaS / Fintech / Accounting industry
• Demonstrated experience as a valued team member
• Demonstrated experience effectively leading a body of work
• Demonstrated experience in mentoring, coaching and supporting team members
