Responsibilities

  • Analyze incoming leads to determine the best course of action
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls with prospects/customers
  • Assess event insurance needs and recommend suitable products
  • Develop a database of solutions for different event or vendor types
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with prospects and customers
  • Keep track of sales activities and results
  • Collaborate with customer service representatives, partner relationship managers, underwriters, and managers
  • Serve as the main interface to support and help grow our broker network
  • Adapt to new and evolving technology
  • Ensure claim notifications are sent to the claims department
  • Resolve invoicing issues

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Education degree (GED)minimum
  • Minimum 2-3 years in the commercial insurance industry
  • Property & Casualty License - Open to any state
  • Demonstrated understanding of commercial insurance lines
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
  • Strong external communication with markets and internally with team members
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Willing to work out of our Grass Valley, CA office Monday-Friday
