Job Description

ALTEN Technology USA seeks a skilled engineer for OBD calibration and development. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment, gaining hands-on experience, and expanding knowledge across various engineering disciplines. The position requires 2 to 5 years of experience in engine or aftertreatment calibration.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy-duty engine dynamometer test cells
• Execute test procedures and ensure accurate data collection
• Calibrate OBD features related to aftertreatment systems
• Assess OBD monitor performance and reliability
• Design, execute, and analyze development and verification tests
• Lead the innovation of OBD algorithms
• Apply analytical methods for OBD monitor testing and design calculations
• Present findings in written reports and oral presentations

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of experience in engine or aftertreatment calibration
• Experience with OBD calibration
• Knowledge of CARB and EPA standards
