CookUnity is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead the Horizons Team, focusing on creating a scalable platform connecting chefs with consumers. The role involves driving technical excellence, mentoring engineers, and ensuring timely project delivery, with a hybrid work arrangement.

Responsibilities

• Lead web, mobile, and backend engineers
• Provide technical and architectural guidance
• Define and refine team processes
• Collaborate cross-functionally
• Hire, develop, and retain engineers
• Strategically allocate resources
• Deliver high-impact projects on time
• Establish and oversee quality assurance processes
• Manage tech debt proactively

Requirements

• 2+ years of Engineering Manager experience
• Hands-on experience with React, TypeScript, Node.JS, Kotlin, Postgres/MySQL, AWS, React Native
• Expertise with agile methodologies
• Strong English communication skills
• Ability to design and guide scalable system architectures
• Track record of coaching and mentoring engineers
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
