Job Description

Responsible for managing and ensuring compliance with all global import and export regulations throughout the supply chain. Classifies products using HTS and Canadian HS codes, determines countries of origin, and identifies opportunities under free trade agreements. Ensures products meet U.S. regulatory and safety standards and communicates these requirements to various departments. Collaborates with customs brokers, government agencies, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain efficient trade operations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee global import and export compliance processes
  • Manage product classification using HTS and Canadian HS codes
  • Determine country of origin and identify free trade agreement opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with U.S. Customs, government agencies, and customs brokers

Requirements

  • 0–5+ years of experience in international trade, import/export compliance, and tariff regulations
  • Demonstrated interest in global trade compliance and regulatory strategy
  • Passion for building and scaling internal trade compliance processes
  • Familiarity with international trade laws, customs procedures, and documentation requirements
  • Willingness to pursue a U.S. Customs Broker License
